HAY choose Kraftvaerk

One of Denmark's largest furniture manufacturers, HAY, has chosen Kraftvaerk as their future IT consultancy partner. The choice is based, among other things, on Kraftvaerk's ability to deliver solid business-critical solutions and understanding of great technical complexity.
HAY has chosen Kraftvaerk to migrate their B2B e-commerce platform to a new Episerver solution and inRiver with Dynamics 365 as the underlying engine. The choice is based on the fact that HAY has initiated a major process in digitalization, explains Torben Kjeldgaard Trans – Head of IT and Digitalization at HAY.
“HAY has initiated a comprehensive digitalization process, where the first phase offers a replacement of the company's ERP solution – from Navision to Dynamics 365. Our solution is very complex with a product configurator and many integrations for suppliers, carriers and not least our web platform. Changing an ERP solution is an extremely business-critical task, which is why it was very important for us to find a partner with deep technical insight and great business understanding. The choice fell on Kraftvaerk, who, after a few meetings and a minimum of documentation, managed to present a compelling prototype of a critical part of the project,” says Torben Kjeldgaard Trans.
At the heart of the solution is real-time integration from Episerver and inRiver to Dynamics 365 combined with product configuration built on Dynamics 365's generic configuration models. The solution gives HAY the opportunity to streamline and optimize the process in the continuous work of launching new products and the infinite number of variants that can be configured.
“The solution will strengthen an optimal purchasing process and customer service for B2B customers, while supporting HAY's ambition to grow the online share of orders. We are proud that HAY has chosen Kraftvaerk to tie systems and processes together across data, systems and people. We look forward to a good and value-creating collaboration,” adds Kim Bæk Hansen, Senior Manager at Kraftvaerk.
